Study: How parent depression affects students' grades

School Students' grades can suffer if one or both parents experience depression, according to a study published in JAMA Psychiatry. Parents with depression may be less likely to attend meetings with teachers or take time to listen to their children's problems and help them find solutions, researchers say.
